Tubbs’ Challenge
Hey there Mr. I Quit Again,
I am issuing you a CHALLENGE!
Like you, I have been plump… ok fat my entire life. I have tried nearly every diet out there and they all work for a while. Yet, none of them work for a life style. I can’t go my whole life and eat out of a box, count every single calorie or spend 90 minutes in the gym every day. I need a cure.
After reading your blog I know you too, have seen skinny people who just simply don’t want the extra plateful or the big dessert. I have to find that place because I can’t white knuckle it every day.
While roaming the ‘net I came across Paul McKenna who claims “I can make you thin”. His basic premises centers around 4 principals:
- When you are hungry, eat.
- Eat what you want (not what you think you “should”.)
- Eat consciously and enjoy every mouthful.
- When you are full stop.
I know those rules sound simple but if they were we both wouldn’t be so obese, right?

For the record I am not affiliated with Paul McKenna, I have not previously read any of his books or tried his program.
Here’s my challenge, let’s purchase his book “I Can Make You Thin”, begin to read it and see if he can indeed make these two lifelong fatties thin. If you accept we will both post our results everyday here on your blog, start on December 1st and attempt it no matter what we think of it through December 31st.
The one who loses the least weight will have to pay $12:39 (as found on Amazon.com) for the other person’s book. Of course to start on December 1st you may have to buy it locally but you get the idea.
