The No “S” Diet

I came across this today (http://www.nosdiet.com) and found it to be entertaining if nothing else.  The premise is No Snacks, No Sweets, No Seconds. (get it – No “S”…).  Admittedly I thought of something else when I saw the title that involved a four letter word – which after reading more, I think still fits.

For the most part, this is what I have been doing since the beginning of the month (June, 2010).  I plan to read more from the site – I found the authors candor to be very refreshing.

My favorite quote from his page so far:

Is there any scientific evidence that this diet works?

Absolutely none. But I’m not aware that I have any competition in this regard.

  1. I just heard about your site from Roni so I figured I’d say hi. ;)

I heard about the s diet after I started implementing some of those rules for myself, actually. I like my snacks though so I generally have a snack a day, but I don’t do sweets except for weekends. I think basically it’s a good guideline for eating though. I like that it’s except (sometimes) on days that start with S. It’s really an easy philosophy to remember unlike something where you have to count points.
